Wow, what a great Christmas. I had been begging and pleading for a digitizer for some time now; after my last little Graphire 4″X5″ was shorted out by my son using it to play a video game about two years ago. I had been hoping to be able to upgrade to Intuos, the next level of digitizers by Wacom with twice the number of sensitivity levels as the Graphire, but the price on these things has just refused to come down since I’ve been shopping for one, even on the used ones on Ebay. I was also desiring a bigger work surface; at least a 6″X8″. When the box came that I suspected had my digitizer in it, I wondered what else my hubby had ordered because it looked a little large…
It was a 9″X12″! Just like the one here. I’m thrilled; maybe a little intimidated. Sketching with it is a dream. Here is a little image that I did in photoshop, took about 10 minutes.
